The House version proposed a $15,000 cap, and the Senate version a $25,000 cap. The conference committee is requesting the authority to establish a compromise. The question being: "Shall the Senate adopt the Conference Committee Report on CONFERENCE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 18 "An Act relating to the liability of parents and legal guardians of minors who destroy property; and providing for an effective date"?"
